The CATOPTO MKIII is into it's tenth year of total reliability.  A fully isolated interface for digital modes. It has it's own vox ptt, for those whom have no serial ports free on their PC's, as well as the normal RTS/DTR com port ptt, or USB if you require it.  CAT is inbuilt for both Icom and Yaesu. A truly universal isolated interface for all radio's, many in use for PSK31, RTTY, MFSK, SSTV, etc etc, and not a reported failure to date. It is very useful for portable work.  As can be seen the unit is built on a high quality circuit board, and housed in an ABS case. It is simplicity in itself to wire up and run with any of the data mode software(s) around including MixW, FLDigi, and HRD. Tried and tested over a number of years this unit is ultimately reliable. • LED monitoring of the ptt

• Front panel switching choice between data vox, or serial port RTS ptt unlike others which only have data vox

• Only one com port for ptt, cw keying, and CAT

• Adjustable vox sensitivity

• Low current requirement 12V, or 9V battery supply  for vox and cat

• Supplied with all PC soundcard and com port cables 4 foot or 1219 mm in length

Note that the dc psu is not required when you are not using vox and / or cat.
