We manufacture a microcontrolled  EchoLink interface controller . Designed especially for Echolink, and other ham radio voip systems.  Having been made since 1999 in the the days of iLink etc, it is fully built, and on air tested, and housed in a black ABS case. The unit has complete galvanic isolation between PC and radio which is unique to this controller, and is fully compatible with EchoStation repeater software by K1RFD as well as EQso software which use RTS tx control, with the listed added features. These controllers are in use worldwide.

  • Doubles as a fully isolated interface for other PC software. EQso , and  data modes.

  • All PC soundcard in/out cables supplied 1.219 Metre long nominal

  • Com port RS232 cable supplied

The MKIV is a part of our ongoing development with slight changes in circuitry, led placement, and rear apron connectors. Functionally the same as the MKIII Echolink controller series. It uses the same 3.5mm jack sockets for line in, and line out, but a DB9 connector for radio rxaf,txaf,ptt, and cor connections.   The com port cable is not compatible with earlier versions of this controller.

All you have to do is supply the 12V dc and radio cables.  Note this is NOT simply a soundcard interface, it is dedicated primarily to use with Echolink. You MUST supply it with a +9V to 13.8V regulated dc supply for ANY of the functions to operate. If you have a specific non Echolink application then please email for a discussion and advice.

Add to the above that you will receive ongoing technical support second to NONE at no cost or time limit. When we state tech support we do mean real tech support and not lip service to the concept of it. In other words we don't just take your money and run or hide behind realms of meaningless FAQ lists, we are radio amateurs  supporting fellow radio hams.

COM-RELAY A small unit built into an ABS box which is primarily designed for use with EchoTime softare to take either the RTS or DTR output from a serial com port and switch a relay. The isolated relay pair can then activate a cooling fan for keeping a linking radio cool in either a repeater, or rf link scenario. Of course the pair can be used to switch other items. Rated at 1Amp contacts the unit operates from 12V to 15V, and can also be used to switch much larger relays if neccesary. Input / output connections are via terminal connectors on the circuit board. (See EchoTime Link Below) This unit can also take a voltage from a transceivers squelch detector and be used for COR in EchoLink.
