This is a kit of parts to enable anyone to build their own "Isolated digital mode interface". It consists of all the components required to complete the build, including a silk screened printed circuit board, and has connections to the board from the pc's soundcard and com port, with receive, transmit audio, ptt, and cw keying outputs for the radio. If required the cw keying can be changed to an FSK keying output instead where a transceiver supports grounding of an fsk line. In that scenario the user would select TXD for FSK use and not DTR as is used for cw keying.

The kit comes complete with it's own booklet which includes a schematic, and pcb overlay. It also comes with connectors as shown in the picture.

This kit when assembled, and wired into your system will enable you to use any of the data mode softwares available for CW, PSK, MFSK, THROB, HELL, SSTV, RTTY etc etc.

As an alternative option the pcb can be supplied ready built  for the purchaser to wire into their own system, without any sockets or other components  Please be aware that this means the components on the pcb are soldered exactly as shown in the bottom picture, and what you get is shown in the picture. If you only require the built pcb version, but want to solder the components yourself, then please state that in the order. 

Please note the OPTO-Kit does not require any dc power supplies. Simply plug it into your PC's serial com port, or use a USB/Serial converter to provide one, and away you go.
